For close to 200 years, the Herend Porcelain Manufactory has impressed the world with its handmade and hand-painted porcelain creations. Founded in Hungary, in 1826, Herend has grown to become one of the most prestigious producers of porcelain in the world. Its signature patterns and attention to detail set the brand apart.

A Replica of the Flagship Boutique With a Local Touch

To stay loyal to the Herend identity, the design of the Abu Dhabi boutique has been based on the one in Budapest. With simplicity and European elegance in mind, I-ONE Interiors, an interior design contractor of the Al Mazroui Group, developed the fit-out of the store. Of course, Herend UAE has brought its own touch. For example, the classic black façade has been embellished with golden fish scales, a Herend iconic pattern.

The selection of items found in store has also been adapted to the Middle Eastern market. Next to European coffee and tea sets, dinnerware and vases, customers will be happy to find the traditional Arabic finjan revamped with Herend's iconic patterns.
