Herend Porcelain Manufactory once again played a distinguished role in the National Gallop, held at the picturesque Lipizzaner Equestrian Centre in Szilvásvárad during the first weekend of October 2025.

For the past eighteen years, the Herend Porcelain Manufactory has proudly served as the official prize provider of the prestigious National Gallop, making the name Herend inseparably linked with the event’s noble traditions and enduring values.

The exquisite porcelain prizes crafted by Herend are far more than symbols of victory — they are masterpieces of Hungarian artistry and craftsmanship, reflecting the nation’s rich cultural heritage.

This year, winner was awarded the distinguished Herend Hadik Hussar statuette, a work of art that embodies the honour and excellence of her achievement.

Along with the Herend creation, the champion also received the National Gallop Challenge Trophy — a hussar sabre dating back to 1848 — preserving Hungary’s proud equestrian and historical legacy.

Each year, Herend Porcelain Manufactory presents prizes of exceptional artistic refinement, befitting the prestige of the National Gallop. Individually designed and hand-painted, these porcelain trophies stand as a testament to nearly two centuries of Herend’s masterful craftsmanship and its enduring contribution to Hungarian cultural values.
