Limited Edition – Falcon vase
The Herend Porcelain Manufactory's largest enormous vase, which stands more than two meters tall, was created in 2021 in a one-of-a-kind design. This limited edition Falcon Vase was developed and painted by Sándor Vida, a remarkable painter and designer from Herend. In the central panel of the vase there are two legendary falcon species: the saker falcon and the peregrine falcon. The saker falcon is one of the most versatile falcon species, is extremely intelligent and an excellent hunter. The striking feathers under its eyes optically amplify the expression of gaze, making it a symbol of “all-seeing eyes”, seeing far away and being invulnerable. The peregrine falcon, which was already the bird of the year, is the world’s fastest flying bird, the most widespread falcon on Earth. Because of the falcons painted on it, Herend UAE based in Abu Dhabi, a member of the Al Mazroui group, considers this vase to be valuable to the Arab World.

Peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus)
The noblest hunter and the king of falcons. The world's fastest bird, its falling speed can approach 400 km/h, is every falconer's fantasy. Its natural habitat consists mostly of mountainous and transitional environments. It breeds anywhere from the frozen tundra to the tropics. It can be found practically everywhere on the planet. (In Hungary, it breeds in the Pilis, Vértes, and Zemplén districts.)
Saker falcon, Turul ( Falco cherrug )
It is one of the most commonly utilized falconry species. Its hybrids can be found practically everywhere on the planet. It is highly intelligent and lives in flat and flat environments. It may be hunted effectively in mountains, plains, and even desert environments! It primarily occurs in Hungary.
Vase layout represents falcons in one of their possible homes, nature's green with the frame hue, and the life-giving power of sunlight with the golden patterns.
