FTV Proclad expertise for Majnoon field expansion

Majnoon oilfield, near the city of Basrah in the southern part of Iraq, is one of the world’s richest oilfields in terms of reserves, operated by the Basra Oil Co, which is now producing around 240,000 barrels per day (BPD) and seeks to boost output to 450,000 BPD.

The current expansion plan involves drilling of more than 100 new wells, expansion of the CPF with two additional oil processing trains of more than 100,000bpd capacity each, a sour gas treatment plant, and a central power plant, along with new flowlines and other associated infrastructure where FTV Proclad provided complete skid and vessel fabrication, full scope manufactured and tested at Jafza facility in Dubai.

This project was executed within the scheduled time frame and on budget and successfully completed MMF Filter Vessels with internal coating as a "natural rubber lining" & external coating with "RAL 7035 paint system. These vessels are having ASME U Stamp certification & also been hydro-tested at 13.39 BAR (G).

The equipment supplied for the Manjoon Project is the first of its kind, relative to the product type, and a  new addition to the FTV Proclad client base which continues to develop and grow.
